.. and honestly, cas can't blame him. he might make it look easy, with his loose smiles and easy charm, how he's ingratiated himself with his shipmates, but it's mostly all a front. cas doesn't feel any more in place here then dean does, but then, cas hasn't felt like he's known what home felt like since he's fallen. he doesn't really fit anywhere anymore. he's not an angel, he's not a human, or a monster, he's some bastard in-between mix and the universe hates mutts. dean, though, he's the closest thing to home that cas has.
