It makes sense, but that's hardly the point; Castiel simply doesn't take well to being ordered around by someone he does not know, let alone a captor that had abused his father. Making demands of people is generally not the best way to endear yourself to them, but then, Castiel doesn't expect a creature like this to understand that sort of thing. Just how long has he been hiding away here, anyway? Has he lost all sense of what it means to interact with another sentient creature?
